THE BEST CROISSANT IN THE UK

2024 EDITION

Last year's inaugural edition of the competition attracted an impressive response, with 85 bakeries taking part and over 26,000 people voting for their favourite croissant.

At the final held at The Savoy in London, the ten finalists presented their creations to a panel of six experts. The winners of the competition received the prestigious Best Croissant trophy in front of over 150 guests who had come to celebrate the art of the croissant in the UK.

This year, the competition moves up a gear with 20 finalists competing in the grand final at the Savoy on 26 September 2024.

Final in London

The final of the competition will take place on Thusday 26th September 2024 at The Savoy in London.

On the day of the final, the 20 finalists will bring their freshly baked croissants to The Savoy in London, where our expert judges will taste them to determine the winner of the competition.

*To ensure a fair representation of the whole of the UK, we have divided the country into three regions with comparable populations: the North, the Centre and the South.

The South has the highest density of bakeries nationally. As a result, 10 finalists from the South will be chosen according to their number of votes. Five finalists from the North and five finalists from the Centre will be selected in the same way.
